Did Musetti kicking the ball in Tiafoe match deserve DQ?
Simple answer: Yes or No. Maybe such poll already was there and I missed it. In this case - my apologies.

I voted no, but I don't feel good about the whole situation. Thankfully the lines person wasn't injured, but that does seem to be the difference between default, and not.

I actually think that Djokovic shouldn't have been DQd as well. But the reaction of this linesperson did not give them any other options.

Serious question: what condition(s) do you think should merit default?
The Shapovalov incident years ago in DC merit, to me, not only disqualification but a long suspension (he was not). Zverev's tirade in Acapulco and Nalbandian's actions at Queen's were handled properly to me.

I think referee shall consider 3 things: intent (in a sense that was out of anger Zverev/Nalbandian or just random like Musetti/Djokovic), severity of the action (i.e how hard the ball was struck) and severity of the consequences. Also we shall remember that he can give point/game penalty, but not disqualify right away.ponchi101 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 06, 2025 10:49 pmSerious question: what condition(s) do you think should merit default?
