If you pick that section well it may help a lot moving forward - there 's a strong probability that the champion comes out of that section.

Some interesting doubles matches

Only one interesting singles match today ..Raducanu Vondrousova..some nice doubles matches though but none of my channels will show them....methinks i will switch off today.

Back to regular rainy London weather.

I am staying in Wimbledon village and this is expected to be the only spot of rain this week. Mainly a light drizzle. The temperature should be moderate for the rest of the week, too.

Watching Cameron Norrie play has got to be one of the most perplexing things one can do in tennis. I don't know whose strokes are uglier: his, or Medvedev's.
Makes you wonder why anybody bothers to teach form.

I remember when my son was being coached by Ramesh Krishnan, RK told him (us, rather) - I am not going to change the way he hits, let him just hit the way he wants to, just better..form, maybe, cannot be taught after a certain age.. my son was only 13..

Not as many higher ranked players losing today, but still some (Tiafoe, Haddad Maia, Fernandez, Vekic). Likely Schneider as well.

You have to count Boulter's loss as a bit of an upset, seeing as she lost to a LL.

I bet you can see Taylor Fritz's racquet head from space
