I like to think that the screw-up by the refs in the Lions Cowboys game came around as karma. Dem Boyz got slapped around, and in the process made it possible for the Lions to get a 2nd home game (which they did).

I had a chance to meet friends downtown to watch the game last night but had a family obligation (not to mention the wind chill was -15).
As for next weekend...hmm...

I hope you get to go! No matter what happens it's an historic game for the Lions.

I had it in my head that the Bills vs Steelers game was at 8:15.

The law of karma works in the NFL too.

There was a bad call where the Bills were denied a fumble reception because reasons. Pittsburgh proceeded to march down the field and were about to score when their QB threw an interception.

Sometimes you just have to let things play out.

AND Josh Allen just ran a 52 yard TD from scrimmage.

Time for Tomlin to start worrying.

The "pretend slide" was impressive

I know it's early but if Philly loses it would make for a great two-step.

Looking forward to Patricia getting pilloried because this D is atrocious ever sense he came on board

That may have been the worst tackling I've seen in any football game ever. Including college, my high school days etc. Yikes.

You lose by 3.
But you went for it on 4th down twice, instead of kicking two field goals. And you did not make it.
I just don't get it.

Because if they make it even one of those two times and get a touchdown they get 7 points, more than two field goals.

They also had a fourth down touchdown as well. Can't only talk about the failed fourth downs and ignore the made ones.

Also, both field goals would have been at least 46 yards and given both teams kicking woes this season you can hardly guarantee one or both would have been successful.

In football, I feel that the misses are more important than the makes. You have to go for the high percentages, especially in a CONF final, an elimination game. Against a defense like SFO, letting those FG's go ended up being too much.
