I would cater to the coincidence and make them identical.

But Sabalenka wasn't playing today, so the cake isn't being presented on court - that's the only reason that the other one was larger was because it was being presented on court.

I think it's a bad example but Vika's comment is probably coming from years of compounded experiences.

This is exactly it. We've seen the differences before, what's done on court vs. off is never identical. We've seen it many times, even when it's not your home country.

And I have a hard time believing this would be the same controversy if Coco had gotten a big ass cake on the main court at the Miami Open and Sinner had gotten a smaller one on a non-match day.

I can't believe this has become a thing people are mad about.

And I doubt most care at this point, but Aryna was quite happy when they presented her with the cake. She had the video up and was smiling from ear to ear.

Any news on whether the older twins are making inroads in tennis? I remember people placing bets that they would win Wimby in doubles by some getting-closer year.

Jack Sock made his pro pickleball debut last week, reaching the QF in the singles tournament and winning the mixed doubles with 16 year old world number 1 Anna Leigh Waters

The NASCAR track from this past weekend had a Pickleball court put in.
Surely a venue that also hosts tennis could have had a court available

Not disagreeing with the sentiment, but to my knowledge there are courts available. But a good court for an exo with that level of superstar? Not really, the bigger courts are all broken down by now I believe. The largest permanent one is relatively small I think. That being said, if there's money to be made and Serena or Venus pitches the idea to Stephen Ross, I wouldn't rule it out in the future if F1 is on board with the idea.

Saint Holger got a cake like Aryna's at this same tournament. I don't care about cake, I like pie. Any over the top cake like the one given to Alcaraz is a waste and whether your on court or not it doesn't really matter, just give everyone the same birthday cake if you're giving them out. It's not a big ask.

More from Miami Grand Prix weekend. If you scroll in Serena's photos, there's also a photo with Olympia, and the brunette is model Karlie Kloss for those that don't recognize her (she looks much less recognizable as a brunette to me). In the second Gabriela post, scroll thru to the 6th photo to see her with Roger and Mirka. The other people she's with are Formula 1 drivers.
