I thought about that too.
But let's remember that Garin is not far removed from a couple of stellar years. It may have been that Garin won it, not Zverev lost it.

Rybakina won the first set vs Iga, who is making quite a few errors, more than I'd expect (eye test, not looking at stats).
Iga lands so many returns right at the server's feet. When she has to move a bit to return and can't return as offensively, the opponent starts the point in a much better position.

Returning right at Iga's feet is probably the right strategy - remember, the goal is to push her onto her back foot.
