Watching Tiafoe..I really fear for his arm in the long run ..his forehand is the ugliest I have ever seen, because it relies on sheer strength...not sustainable...

Given that Swiatek may polish off Samsonova in an hour, I hope to see a bit of Sinner-Paul before my day starts...it should be a good match, though the result is not much in doubt...of course S will win but the tennis will be high quality

i take it as a sign that players dont necessarily understand their own games very well.. Samsonova needs a slower court, not a faster one - she isnt quick enough to survive on a really fast court, but has enough power that she doesnt need help from the court. But she thinks she is better on a fast court. I dont think she will last long here, am a bit surprised she has come this far.

Cannot WAIT to get to the Open this Wednesday, so I can watch players from the range of I like+ them, to I am meh, to I cannot stand them.





OF course, I do love Taylor. IF she can at least win one or both of her doubles and mixed doubles matches in the next two days, I should be able to see her.
