Sevastova is all junk balls, so no surprise that she would frustrate the trigger happy Ostapenko.

assuming Madrid continues to be 'fast through the air', we should not expect Ostapenko, Anisimova, Fritz, to do well here.. they all need a bit of extra time to set up and hit..which they wont get.

Fritz is doing well, the other 2 are out, as I expected .

Coco wriggled out against Yastremska but it was not pretty - Coco did not play well, Y played badly in the second set...missed easy forehands. Coco's problems with the forehand continue..
