She has serious game and was straight up the better player on clay in Paris against Pegula. Today she made an incredible get while down set point in the tiebreak. Otherwise she probably would have lost the match. Andreeva definitely hurt herself with her attitude, but Boisson caused her to have that attitude.
Agree having watched both matches. She may not keep up this level in other tournaments or surfaces or even in her next match, but these two losses were bad losses only on paper....Boisson played great and had nerves of steel.

It's just one loss in a slam QF, and she did win IW, so don't think this changes too much. Not sure why you need the talk to stop but don't see it happening!
Because I saw an example of the negative consequences of putting such expectations. After Rome 2017 victory this is precisely what was spoken about Zverev. Didn't turn out too well. Even though I'm not a fan of Zverev or Andreeva, I hate to see players destroyed.

Oh Please, this is a basic, simple answer any PR person would have you say.

"Mirra Andreeva very mature in press when
talking about the crowd. "It's normal that they would support a French
player, so I knew that it's going to be like this. I think that in the first set I managed it pretty well. I didn't really pay attention to that, but obviously with nerves and with pressure, it became a little harder. But, anyway, I think that I
can learn from this"."

But that's the point. I am sure Conchita coached her through that, but Mirra went out there and delivered the "damage control" speech, as opposed to somebody else coming out firing angry things about the French.
She knows she will be coming back to Paris for the next 10 years at least. Don't dig a hole this early.
