At the halfway mark...time to revise probabilities .
Sabalenka 40%
Swiatek 30
Andreeva 15
Rybakina 10
The rest 5%
Agree?

I'd decrease Swiatek's chances to 10% and increase The rest to 15%. There are still some strong players there.

Like you are about to be able to distribute Rybakina's 10% amongst other players.
Plus, Krejcikova, defending champion, is still alive. Should she be given a bit of a better chance other than being included in the OTHER category?

Indeed, but let's wait till those matches are actually over.

Ok. With the QF's about to start, I think: the players that can win this thing are Sabalenka, Swiatek, Anisimova (if she does not go insane) and maybe Andreeva. All others indeed go for about 10%.
Percentages? All about the same. I don't think you can split hairs so easily.
And, of course, I hope Emma will somehow find a way to hit a few more winners per match.

I truly have no idea what will happen in the women's draw, so I will pull a Ponch and take the field on whatever list Ashkor posts for the rest of the tournament.

I'd rate Andreeva above Anisimova and maybe above Swiatek as well. Of course Sabalenka is a heavy favorite, but the field still has a realistic chance.

Strokes wise, sure. But she has melted a bit frequently as of late. The RG match against Boisson was hers, and then she freaked out when pushed a little.

Agree, but she's only 18... I personally am rooting for Tauson and Bencic, but winning the whole thing not realistic for them.

Re: 2025 Wimbledon Women's Singles Lists, Draws & Discussion
Eeeeh... I give Tauson a chance. She moves well, she has enough power. And she may be a good example of how impatient WE are (I am one) because she showed great promise, faded a little bit, and now seems to be reaching her true potential. We expected a bit too much too early.
Sure, it would be a surprise. But not really unthinkable.
