Anyway for her SF's is a great result. A good sign before her favorite US hard courts. Also back in the top 20 Monday.

Her FH grip is not more extreme than Rafa's. And he did ok on grass, as far as I remember.

Rafa changed his game for Wimbledon, standing closer to the baseline to return serve, moving into the court and using his flatter backhand tremendously. He also moved better than Swiatek on grass and did not routinely miss shots by yards, as she did even a few times today while dominating Bencic.

Also, I think her grip is more extreme, but that's definitely not my expertise as someone who never hit a topspin shot in my life.

I actually thought Bencic would win and that Sabalenka vs Anisimova was a toss up with a slight edge to Sabalenka. WTH happened to Bencic in the second set? A bagel?

And this year she is hitting it earlier, for which she has to stand closer to the baseline.
It was a liability for her in the past. This time, as you say, she has learned to get under the ball.
Borg's grip was also extreme. He did well too.

It was reported that her toenail got split in half. I wonder how she even finished the match.

She simply did not have the power to match Iga. Iga was teeing off her groundstrokes with ease.
