Today, at around 0200 AM, the USA (I assume) bombed several multiple positions in Venezuela. As expected, the military airbase close to my home was bombed. I was woken up by multiple bombs.
I know nothing about this, but it sounded like missiles flying in.
We can still hear airplanes over the city. From my house, you can see two very large plumes of smoke lifting in two parts of the city.

And now Tiny has announced that Maduro and his wife have been captured and taken out of the country.
I am not going to say that this upsets me; good riddance if this is true.
But the US has become a rogue state. And, if this is true, it will take a long time before it will have any semblance to a leading world power.

If China invades Taiwan tomorrow, what could happen? What could the USA say that the Chinese will not reply: "you started".

The loyalty he had was from Cuban military personnel. We are flooded with them, who are the real guards that surround him.

From what I've read, she would favor Edmundo González becoming president as he (probably) got the most votes in the '24 election.

Maria Corina Machado (her name) was voided from running for the election. Edmundo Gonzalez ran as her pick, as the sole intention was to get rid of Maduro. They were/are a team.
She has already issued a brief audio, explicitly saying that Gonzalez shall return to Vennieland and assume the presidency, as he is the elected candidate that won the election.
Trump, of course, just said that she is not qualified to run the country. She has not said that is her plan. But Tiny just threw her under the bus (the jealousy of her winning the Nobel).
But she also very cryptically said that in a short while, the opposition will issue instructions on what "the people" must do.
Why do I see myself marching?

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.
