Elina Svitolina is pregnant. A baby girl is expected in October. Confirmed by herself on TW.

With the Ukrainian situation, and a baby coming, I gather that at a minimum she will be out of the tour for 2 years, if she decides to come back after birth.
But good for them. They'll be happy (or even more).

Been rumored for the last month that this was the case. I'm a bit surprised though just because of the timing, but wish them well.

Looks like Laura Robson has officially retired. Her US Open run in 2012 was one of my highlights of watching tennis as a Brit. Not only was she a great player to watch with lots of potential, but she had a likeable personality too! Gutted for her that her career was cut short, but I am enjoying her commentary for Prime tennis

Kara Juvan in Strasbourg. Such a pretty city, some great shots here if you scroll.

Strasbourg reminds me of Bruges in Belgium, another hidden gem of a city.

Czech Vogue went all in on tennis for the upcoming issue! Very nice for all involved. Looks like Martina is the one who interviewed them. Barbora's interview was definitely done by her since she mentioned it specifically on her IG.

This is cool. I really like Martina but I would not have recognized her in that pic. Thanks for posting these. :)

I'm glad to see they included Martina. The pics are great and reflect each woman's personality.

Very good shots. Petra's coat is lovely. Karo looks very pretty. Barbora, I think, could have gone for something younger.
Martina is not recognizable, indeed.

Good on Vogue for this. Barbora looks like a different woman in almost every picture I see of her. I can never picture her clearly in my mind.

The arm positioning on Pliskova's photo is crazy and makes it look like she is trying to avoid a wardrobe malfunction

How much did Yonex pay for that?

While I technically agree that Barbora could've gone for something younger, it's also the easily among the very best I've ever seen her look in many ways. Not sure if others recall what she's worn and hair and makeup at the WTA Finals, for instance.

As for Martina, you're all lucky to be seeing the post with her photo. Breezed right by her photo thinking, who the heck is this and why is she in the same issue?

Not bad overall. Czech tennis is so strong, the new generation is already coming up to replace these ladies.
